Trish and Lita are backstage to promote their match with Alexa Bliss and Mickie James at Evolution. They’re team Besties after all, and they only make each other stronger.

Alicia Fox interrupts quiet loudly, and her and Mickie James attack Lita and Trish. It looked like an all-out BRAWL, too. Hey, Trish and Lita can still go!

It’s time now for the main event, Seth and Dean vs. Drew and Dolph for the Raw Tag Team Championship. Seth and Dean give an emotional Shield tribute by again entering through the steps of the crowd.

The match is super emotional. Every time Seth and Dean are ahead, we’re cheering; every time Drew and Dolph get the upperhand, we think “there’s no way they can win tonight”.

It’s just magical to see how much more important wrestling becomes when there are real emotions involved. It elevates it from a method of entertainment to a story, a journey, a real fight, in this case.

I think no matter the outcomes of all the contests tonight, what we’ll remember most about this episode of Raw is that professional wrestling is nothing without heart. It’s nothing without the people who care, and it’s nothing without the feeling you’re a part of something bigger than a wrestling match.

Braun Strowman interferes with the match, and he chases Drew McIntyre out of the arena. Dolph is the only one in the ring, and Seth nails a curb stomp for the pin.

Then we have the Dean Ambrose turn. Yeah, that’s right. They did it… right now. Of all times to maybe change direction given the circumstances, tonight would’ve been the time to do it.

That’s right, everybody. Welcome to professional wrestling.
