Raw begins with a flash back to last week, when Universal Champion Roman Reigns announced to the world that for the last eleven years, he’d battled leukemia. It’s so weird to see Roman enter the ring that night knowing what we know now, assuming he’s been in street clothes that night because he was just injured.

When Raw officially begins, out comes acting GM (can we finally just say real GM now?) Baron Corbin. He gives a bit of a tasteless promo about Roman Reigns, but there are portions where he wishes his best.

Brock Lesner is here with Paul Heyman in tow. They talk about Crown Jewel. You know, the usual. It’s whatever. Paul Heyman says he couldn’t be more sure Brock Lesnar will win Friday if these matches were pre-determined. Ha, ha.

Braun comes out to defend himself. Realistically, he’s got to win, right? There not going to tease that whole severance with Brock Lesnar and then put the belt on him, are they?

Actually, of course they are.

Braun Strowman’s promos can’t get any worse. Braun’s got words, Brock F5’s him. Yadda yadda yadda. It’s a match. I’m so sorry, but I don’t really care about this match. There’s no emotion here, the promo it will air at is dumb.
