1. Final Encounter Sets The Stage For DX vs. The Brothers Of Destruction
The Attitude Era has very few remaining superstars in 2018 in the WWE since the late-1990’s and early-2000’s. The era is long gone, but four of the top superstars from the era are set for a match years in the making that fans never thought they’d get the chance to see.
Triple H defeated The Undertaker at Super Show-Down, but the post-match attack by Taker and Kane on The Game and Shawn Michaels ultimately led to the inevitable. DX is back and will battle The Brothers Of Destruction at Crown Jewel for the first time ever in HBK’s first match since being retired by The Deadman at WrestleMania 26 back in 2010.
This is a huge match even in 2018 when the superstars involved are well past their prime. Last night was the final encounter for both sides before Crown Jewel when The Brothers Of Destruction had a few final remarks to DX. However, Michaels and Triple H had a plan up their sleeve to gain the upper hand over The Undertaker and Kane.
When DX’s music hit, Triple H came out without Michaels. This got Kane to leave the ring to approach The Game, leaving Taker in the ring to catch a quick Sweet Chin Music from HBK, who rushed in from behind the ring. DX was back to its old tricks again, but The Phenom sat up and by doing so, he announced it wouldn’t be that easy to keep him down.
The Game and HBK vs. The Deadman and The Big Red Machine, who would have thought it would ever happen? Well, it’s here and fans should be excited to see this match.
