3 Superstars That Need A Win The Most At WWE Survivor Series 2018

2. AJ Styles

While things can change at a rapid pace in the WWE, some things stay the same as well.  That will ring true at Survivor Series when the WWE Champion will battle the Universal Championship in an exact rematch from the 2017 Survivor Series.

AJ Styles has been the WWE Champion for just over a year and for the second straight Survivor Series, he will face off with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, who just recently regained the Universal Championship.  These two put forth a great match last year, and most expect the same result this time around.

Despite pushing Lesnar to his limits last year, The Phenomenal One came up just short in the end and The Beast Incarnate got the win.  It’s a new year, however, and Styles can right the wrong of losing to Lesnar last year by getting a win on Sunday.  When thinking about it, it’s clear that is exactly what needs to happen.

Having Lesnar beat Styles two years in a row just screams that the WWE doesn’t view Styles in the same light as the part-timing, past-his-prime Lesnar.  That is a crime in itself given how much The Phenomenal One has done in the WWE and after all; he’s on the cover of the new WWE 2K19 video game and deserves to be treated as such.

The WWE Champion is phenomenal, and the WWE needs to let him prove it by knocking off the Universal Champion at Survivor Series.
