Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander

It seems like Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander are having five-star matches at least once a month, whether they’re competing against each other or in multi-man matches. Throw anyone in a match with them and it’s going to bring show-stopping moment after show-stopping moments. A real challenge for these two, however, would be to throw in a former World Champion in Rey Mysterio and a future champion in Andrade “Cien” Almas.

You wouldn’t need much convincing to get the crowd invested in a match like this. Just throw these four guys in the ring, ring the bell and get it started. All four will most likely win gold in the WWE within the next couple of years, and we could look back on this match a few years from now as a key lift-off point to their success.

Any of these terrific athletes would be capable of picking up the win, which would make this bout incredibly difficult to predict the winner. Mysterio would probably be the favorite because of his background and experience, but realistically his place in the match would be so that we can see him lead the way, while competing with three future stars of the WWE.

Almas is still looking for that first big PPV win on the main roster, and maybe a win like this would be exactly what he needs. The prospect of him feuding with Mysterio will always be one that has fans drooling over, but imagine a future where Almas and Ali get to share a ring together over the course of a few months. Sign me up for a program between those two right now!

Ali and Alexander are usually tied to the hip on 205 Live and no matter where they go, they eventually end up together. That’s why I have them competing in this match together, and that’s why I have the finish of this match involving both men. Ali is like Almas in the way that he is still searching for his career-defining victory. I think that eventually takes place when he wins the Cruiserweight Championship for the first time.

In this match however, Ali hits an inverted 450 splash on Mysterio with a win in sight, only for his buddy Alexander to toss him from the ring before hitting Mysterio with a Lumbar Check to steal the victory.

Winner: Cedric Alexander by pinfall
