3. Babyface Dolph Ziggler Just Feels Right

Dolph Ziggler has had a nice career resurgence of sorts since coming over to Raw in the superstar shakeup alongside Drew McIntyre.  The Showoff became one of the most prominent members of the roster on Monday nights, but as of late, The Scottish Psychopath hasn’t appreciated what Ziggler did for him.

McIntyre has recently aligned himself with acting GM Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley to run roughshod over Monday nights.  The trio has taken out Braun Strowman and dealt punishment out to others as well, and Corbin wanted to honor McIntyre’s work with an appreciation night in his honor last night.

The segment saw Corbin give McIntyre a medal of honor, mainly to take a shot at Kurt Angle, who McIntyre took out a few weeks ago.  But in the midst of this segment, Ziggler came out to address McIntyre.  He said his invitation to this party must have been misplaced in the mail and that he and McIntyre were a packaged deal.  However, The Scottish Psychopath revealed his true feelings.

He said Ziggler was nothing more than a means to an end, and he was only aligned with Ziggler so he could get to the position he’s currently in.  This ultimately led to a match between Ziggler and McIntyre which was a big reminder of how great Ziggler can be as a babyface.  His babyface comeback during the match shined brightly, and after Finn Balor got involved, Ziggler upset McIntyre.

The Showoff has proven himself as a heel, but it just feels right seeing him as a babyface and this feels like a good move.
