1. Dean Ambrose Needs To Be THE Threat On Raw

While Drew McIntyre has taken WWE by the (t)horns (yes, that is shade) since being called up to the main roster, Dean Ambrose has a chance to surpass McIntyre as Raw’s most dastardly heel. McIntyre could even turn babyface in the future, as his journey back to WWE – and his drive to be the best – are easy to relate to in a positive way.

Meanwhile, there’s nothing behind Ambrose’s empty eyes other than hatred. Ambrose has a one-track mind for revenge, and the best way to establish him as a serious threat isn’t to have him side-eye Charly Caruso or wear gas masks.

He needs to be a menace who backs up everything he says in the ring.

Seth Rollins is positioned as Raw’s best pure in-ring competitor, given that he pinned Cena and Reigns in the same night and has withstood challenge after challenge from the best that Raw has to offer. Ziggler, Balor, Baron Corbin and so many others have fallen to “The Stomp”, the superplex/falcon arrow combo, or the buckle-boomb. Rollins burns it down every single night.

But there’s one man who has consistently gained the upper-hand on Rollins, and that is the man who knows how to counteract every single one of Rollins’s moves – and there are many moves to keep track of.

That man is Ambrose, and with the Intercontinental Championship back in his hands, he is capable of ruling Raw, especially with the Universal Champion missing in action.

Ambrose needs the championship and this marquee win to solidify his heel turn and kick this feud into that next gear we’ve been asking for.
