1. Dean Ambrose’s Fixation On Taking Down Seth Rollins
Breaking up The Shield and its brotherhood had been done once before prior to this October, but the way it was done this time around was much more shocking than its predecessor. Ever since Dean Ambrose came back from injury over the summer, something felt different about him.
The signs were there for several weeks, but seeing Ambrose finally turn heel was a sight to behold. Especially considering he turned heel after he had just won the Raw Tag Team Championship alongside Seth Rollins on the night in which their fellow Shield brother Roman Reigns was forced to step away from the WWE due to a battle with Leukemia.
The Lunatic Fringe has lived up to that billing since his heel turn with strange behavior and cheap attacks on The Architect time and time again. The war of words and attacks will come to a head this Sunday when Rollins defends the Intercontinental Championship against Ambrose in what is the most personal match on the TLC card. This new-look Ambrose has shown signs he’s never shown before, but will that lead to victory at TLC?
Ambrose has been unhinged lately and fixated on trying to rid the WWE universe of The Architect. That twisted determination could lead him to the Intercontinental Championship and a win over his former Shield brother. Ambrose seems like he’s in a position to do whatever it takes to defeat Rollins, so that makes his character that much more dangerous heading into Sunday.
It feels like Rollins has Universal Championship plans in the future, so a title change here to the unstable and loose-cannon Ambrose could be the first step in getting to that point.
