WWE: Ranking The Upcoming NXT Call-Ups By Expected 2019 Impact
1. EC3
For years, EC3 has been one of wrestling’s finest talkers, and both his physique and microphone skills have caused some fans to call a possible EC3/John Cena feud a “dream” rivalry. The two have teased a future confrontation, and EC3 wouldn’t even seem out of place in a war of words with a living, breathing legend of the industry.
In addition to running one of the most underrated Twitter accounts in WWE, EC3 is a catchphrase-making machine. Everything he says is catchy as hell, and the words seem to flow from his mouth effortlessly. He is the “best here, the best there, the best everywhere” and carries himself with the swagger that only someone who calls himself the “top one percent” without any sense of irony can.
EC3 is the type of talent who would take opportunities. Nothing about him seems complacent, and he’s already partaken in a Match of the Year candidate, as he was a standout in the ladder match at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans over WrestleMania weekend.
He could easily make a name for himself on Raw with his confidence, quick wit, solid wrestling chops, and ability to pinpoint all the fine details of character work. EC3 merely needs a minute to make an impact, and he should get more than that kind of time on Raw. An Intercontinental Championship would be more likely than not for EC3 in his first year on the WWE main roster.
