Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)

At SummerSlam 2019, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton’s WWE Championship match ended in a double count out. This was dispiriting for many WWE fans who wanted a conclusive finish for one of the most historic feuds at the biggest event of the summer.

These two are bound to have a championship rematch at Clash of Champions. If they have their rematch, Kofi Kingston should win the match and retain his WWE Championship for one major reason, and this reason actually mirrors a major life lesson in the process.

In storyline, Randy Orton hindered Kofi Kingston’s momentum years ago and called him “stupid” because he saw Kingston as his competition to grab the brass ring in the WWE. Although he has a good heart, the young Orton was selfish and looking out for his own career.

By holding Kingston back, Orton was able to remain on top longer than he anticipated. Now that Orton has a more veteran-like position in the company and has already had his moments, he would be more than willing to push Kingston to redeem himself from the wrong he has done to Kingston in the past.

In the workforce, many employees tend to do what Orton did to Kingston until they have established their reputation well enough to settle down. It is a common behavior, but it is clear that Kingston was always ready for the main event scene.

Consequently, Orton should make up for his mishap and retell the story by tricking fans into believing that he will assuredly end Kingston’s momentum again in the weeks leading up to Clash of Champions.

When the bell eventually rings for the WWE Championship match, Orton should then do the right thing and lose to Kingston in a show-stealing match with all of their history on the line on a stage made for champions.

Prediction: Kofi Kingston

Seth Rollins (c) vs. The “Fiend” Bray Wyatt [Universal Championship]

Other than Sasha Banks, Bray Wyatt has also created a lot of buzz for the WWE in recent months.

In addition to his FireFly Funhouse segments, he has an alter ego called “The Fiend” whose entrance, features, and aura ooze chills down the spines of the many WWE fans who gaze their eyes at him week after week.

Wyatt used this alter ego to perfection when he obliterated Balor to a pulp at SummerSlam 2019. The WWE fans love his character so much that they are willing to see him contend for the Universal Championship soon.

Immediately after Wyatt’s match with Balor at SummerSlam, Seth Rollins retrieved the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar, who cashed in his MITB Briefcase on him at Extreme Rules a month ago.

Disregarding the rumors of Seth Rollins potentially defending his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman, Rollins does not yet have a clear challenger for Clash of Champions.

Wyatt tends to mystically, randomly, and unexpectedly attack his opponents when he deems it necessary. It is very likely that the Universal Champion Seth Rollins could be his next target.

Rollins and Wyatt have feuded in the past. Back then, Rollins called Wyatt a false prophet, but it seems that Wyatt has transformed into a being too unfathomable for Rollins to even comprehend.

If this match were to occur, the “Fiend” Bray Wyatt must dethrone Rollins, for all of his momentum would vanish if he were to lose.

Hopefully, Bray Wyatt’s “Fiend” character is not merely ostentatious and would actually be a valuable contribution to the flagship show of Monday Night Raw, as well as to the prestige of the Universal Championship.
