4. Ricochet Defeats Samoa Joe

Speaking of real competition, the King of the Ring Tournament has been showcasing some of the best in-ring talent in the WWE. In the past two weeks on Raw, Samoa Joe defeated Cesaro and Ricochet defeated Drew McIntyre for the King of the Ring Tournament.

According to the tournament brackets, Ricochet and Samoa Joe will go to war tonight on Raw to decide who advances to the final round of the Raw side of the bracket.

Ricochet and Samoa Joe battled for the United States Championship at WWE Stomping Grounds 2019, in which Ricochet dethroned Joe to become United States Champion.

Quite frankly, don’t be surprised if history repeats itself for the King of the Ring Tournament.

Ricochet, who is very much adored by the WWE Universe, has been on a tear as of late with his incredible agility and fast paced offense. It is foreseeable that he will continue that momentum with a slicing victory against the Samoan Submission Machine.

3. Baron Corbin Defeats Cedric Alexander

In the past two weeks on Raw, Cedric Alexander defeated Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin defeated The Miz for the King of the Ring Tournament. Last week on Raw, Cedric Alexander defeated Cesaro in a grudge match, but unfortunately injured his leg in storyline.

Alexander’s storyline injury would assist Corbin in picking up the win to advance to the next round of the King of the Ring Tournament. There’s no doubt that the healthy heel-like Corbin would focus his attacks on that leg, and advantageously capitalize on such an opportunity to get his lustrous bald head closer to the regal crown.
