We want the Riott Squad! We want the Riott Squad! Quite frankly, WWE and especially the WWE Women’s division need the Riott Squad. The Riott Squad is a combative trio and once Ruby successfully recovers from her surgeries, the WWE has to make an explosive Riott Squad return.

The WWE needs the Riott Squad back because these ladies deserve to leave their mark in the Women’s Revolution, and they also need to show the entire world that they are a dominant staple in WWE, by earning the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles.

A comeback from the Riott Squad will allow the trio to wrestle in some dream matches against other worthy tag team competitors as well.

For those who are unaware of who exactly the Riott Squad is, this faction consists of group members Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Ruby Riott.

This vicious trio debuted back on the Nov. 21, 2017 episode of SmackDown where they introduced themselves to fellow Superstar Naomi backstage, right before they brutally attacked her.

Current RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch then tried to come to Naomi’s aid, but it was to no avail as the numbers game quickly proved to be too much for the Irish Lass Kicker.

Talk about making a statement to the entire WWE roster!

It’s since been a little over two years since the debut of the Riott Squad, yet we haven’t seen much of the group for the majority of 2019. This can be chalked up to Liv Morgan getting drafted to SmackDown during the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up, which unofficially destroyed the faction as Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott stayed on RAW.

To add insult to injury, it was also discovered that the leader of the group, Ruby Riott, needed surgery on both of her shoulders as she underwent the first surgery in late May, only a few short weeks after the Superstar Shake-up.

This past August, Riott took to Twitter to confirm she’s had her second successful shoulder surgery. This means that Riott should be on her way to recovery and that her in-ring return is growing closer and closer.

Regardless of the reason for the WWE’s decision to split the team up, the WWE universe may not have to wait much longer for the Riott Squad to return.

While there has not been any official statement on when Riott can be expected to return to the ring, the recovery from bilateral shoulder surgery generally takes four to six months (although it certainly varies on the individual).

With this time frame, it’s safe to assume that Ruby will be ready to compete again sometime within the first quarter of 2020.

WWE can use Ruby Riott’s return to the ring as an opportunity for the Riott Squad to re-debut with the proper amount of grit, intensity and charisma. With the right tools in place for a return, these ladies have the potential to dominate in their division, potentially for new title opportunities.

Read on to learn some reasons why the Riott Squad should have an explosive return to the WWE.

Above all else, one significant reason that WWE will need a Riott Squad return is to allow these deserving women the opportunity to leave their mark in Women Revolution.

In the video above, we can see the Riott Squad standing with the remaining women’s roster to celebrate with Ronda Rousey; however, the Riott Squad wouldn’t mind being the ones in the spotlight.

Undoubtedly, this revolution was crafted to show the world that women can do everything that men can do and to show the world that the Women’s division is much more than just a bunch of attractive Divas prancing around the ring.

This evolution lets the entire WWE Universe know that and these women were all about business just like the fellows.

With that being said, there is no better women’s wrestling trio in the WWE who deserves to be a part of this revolution. While beautiful in their own right, the members of the Riott Squad have a nasty gang-like mentality.

These women operate as a wolf pack and their numbers advantage proves to be detrimental to any opponent that tries to step to them.

Secondly, The Women’s Evolution no doubt brought about the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, and as a genuine group, the Riott Squad deserves a shot at them.

This is actually the perfect way for this staple to leave their mark in the revolution, by being able to hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles high over their heads. If the New Day can do it, so can the Riott Squad!

Lately, it seems like WWE has been giving makeshift tag teams more title shot opportunities than real tag teams, and the Riott Squad could come through and change all of that.

Of course, the trio will have to prove their worthiness of having a championship opportunity, but there is no greater motivator than precious, shiny gold. At some point, hopefully, sometime in 2020, the Riott Squad will hold tag team gold, leaving their mark in the Women’s Revolution and in WWE History.

Another reason WWE should bring back the Riott Squad is that the trio can be such a dominant faction.

The Riott Squad has the potential to be viewed just as highly as wrestling groups like The OC, The New Day and The Shield.

They have the charisma, grit, and determination to get there; although it will be a battle complete with obstacles in the form of other tag teams.

Nonetheless, this simply provides the Riott Squad with the opportunity to use these competitors to their advantage and show the whole WWE Universe exactly why they are a force to be reckoned with.

Together, each member contains the traits necessary to be successful champions.

Sarah Logan is a dominant powerhouse, who stays true to herself and fears no competitor because she simply sees them as prey. The WWE Universe most recently saw Logan compete at the 2019 Survivor Series, as she was a member of Team RAW in the 15-Woman Triple Threat Tag Team Match.

Liv Morgan is cunning, has stage appeal, and a quirky personality that not only wins her (and the Riott Squad) points with the fans but also points in the ring.

Ruby Riott is an adept, wicked, high-flying competitor with a no-nonsense attitude, and let’s not forget that she is an effective leader. Ruby Riott certainly makes sure that the job gets done!

Additionally, The Riott Squad adds a sense of chaos necessary in the women’s division, not to mention ensures that more than just the horsewomen of the WWE gets the full spotlight.

The massive potential that the Riott Squad has to continue to be such a dominant faction in the WWE will lead to history-making storylines as well as title shot opportunities.

The possibilities are predominately endless for these women as long as they are able to come back with a vengeance and show the women’s division just how unstoppable they can be.

In addition, another reason WWE needs a Riott Squad return is that the WWE Women’s Tag Team division needs their return.

To be quite frank, it’s about time that the WWE begins showcasing it’s actual women’s tag teams in matches to create more title history-making.

A return by these real-life best friends may bode well for their wrestling careers. If the Riott Squad can use their teamwork to prove their dominance as a threat in the women’s tag team division, these women can battle for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team titles are extremely new, as they were unveiled this past January by Alexa Bliss on Monday Night Raw during A Moment of Bliss.

With each lady of the Riott Squad being able to showcase their dynamic wrestling styles in both solo and team competition, they can show current tag team champs, The Kabuki Warriors, that they are coming for the titles.

In order to make that statement Riott, Logan, and Morgan are going to need some competition, which provides WWE with the perfect opportunity to showcase some dream match-ups.

Whether it be as the Tag Team Champions or on the road to earning a title opportunity, some conceivable match-ups for the Riott Squad could be against opponents like Sasha Banks and Bayley, Rhea Ripley and Piper Niven, Fire and Desire (the duo of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose), Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, or even the team of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Not only would any of these matches be mind-blowing, but these match-ups would also make for some epic title history content. In order for the WWE universe to get these amazing match-ups, we first need to see the Riott Squad make an explosive return to the WWE.

Pretty much all of the women listed above have “Future Hall of Famers” written all over them, and let’s face it anyone in the hall of fame certainly leaves their mark in the history books. It is now the Riott Squad’s goal and responsibility to put these opportunities in their pathway.

How effective the trio is during their comeback will certainly play a massive role in what opportunities these ladies allow to earn.

The WWE needs a Riott Squad return because they deserve to leave their footprint in Women’s Evolution, the trio has the potential to be a preeminent stable in the WWE and because the WWE women’s division is in need of more real tag teams to make genuine WWE Women’s Tag Team history.
