History-Making Win

So, assuming that Lesnar wins, this creates an anchor to Brock’s story moving into Road to WrestleMania season. The WWE Champion is in the Royal Rumble at the No. 1 spot no less, so instead of looking at this as an opportunity for a wrestler to get a cheap pop by throwing Lesnar over the top rope, let’s look at it as a chance to truly watch history in the making.

People won’t necessarily remember someone who threw Lesnar over the top rope mid-match. If Brock is put in a scenario of final two, and is thrown over the top rope, this could lead to a WM match; however, final two and eventually throwing Lesnar over the top rope isn’t that big of feat, especially if said superstar lands a pivotal number between 25-30.

BUT, if Lesnar wins this Royal Rumble, it’ll go down in history books, hit highlight reels, and truly etch Brock in the WWE memory books. Lesnar is the top dog on RAW right now, while we may all be annoyed that he’s champion, he needs to be booked right for the PPVs leading into WrestleMania. He’s not losing the championship that night, and nothing screams strong champ like truly making history and working from the Royal Rumble No. 1 spot to eventual winner.

The idea (I have anyways) is that if Brock Lesnar is built up as much as possible, his WrestleMania 36 fall will be that much sweeter come April, and perhaps the WWE Universe can finally bid the idea of Brock as champ a final adieu.
