Main event time!

But before the match, Roman Reigns thanks his family for having his back last week. He promises that 2020 is going to be his year, he will win the Royal Rumble and main event WrestleMania for a fifth time. Cue The Usos’ music.

The Usos join Roman Reigns on the mic. Jey Uso says that Friday Night SmackDown is Friday Night Lockdown all over again. Jimmy says it’s been rough being on the sidelines for five months, but it was rough watching his cousin get beatdown by his “King and Queen.” He adds that by disrespecting Reigns, Corbin disrespected the whole family.

Out comes Corbin and Ziggler. Corbin says that Reigns is throwing his family under the bus because he’s scared to face Corbin one-on-one. He adds that Reigns can’t hide from him in the Royal Rumble match because Corbin promises to win himself. Reigns challenges Corbin to a singles match to take place some time before the Rumble, and Corbin accepts before The Usos suicide dive onto his goons and this match goes underway.

The Usos (w/ Roman Reigns) vs. Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler

Jimmy Uso and Dolph start before Jimmy tags to Jey for a double team. Tag back to Corbin. Jey dodges a clothesline and whips Uso into the corner. Jey returns the favor, but Corbin rolls out the ring to run back in for a clothesline.

Tag back to Ziggler, sleeper hold before tagging back to Corbin, who picks the scraps. Jey evades a back suplex to tag to Jimmy, who unleashes an uppercut and a bevy of corner punches. Corbin blocks one kick, but can’t avoid the other.

Just as Jimmy goes for the Frog Splash, The Revival run out to distract the babyfaces, but it’s brief to allow Corbin to get the advantage. As they make their way to the back, they get Superman Punched by Roman Reigns. Leads to our final commercial break.

Back from break, Jey Uso is unleashing a comeback spot. Superkick to Corbin, then a dive to Corbin, but Corbin catches Jimmy and tosses him into Roman. Dolph rolls up Jey for a two count, Jey knocks him back down and hits a Splash, but Corbin runs in to send Jey into the ring post. Shortly after, Roman Reigns Spears Corbin to cause a DQ.

Reigns goes to set up a an announce table spot, but in comes a returning Robert Roode to take out Reigns. All three heels team up to take out the babyfaces. Roode spinebusters Reigns onto the announce table. Ziggler then hits an elbow drop onto Reigns to break the table and send us off the air.

Winners: Ziggler/Corbin (by DQ)

Grade: D

Forgettable return match for the Usos (also didn’t like the interference) and an underwhelming main event at that. Even worse seeing The Usos lose their first match back.

Overall Grade: C

Not bad. Some hits and misses, but there were more hits than misses. First hour was bordering on great, but then the second hour fell down a cliff the longer it went, with short bursts of goodness in between.
