Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy [Grudge Match]
Aleister Black delivers a swift back elbow to Buddy Murphy and some quick shoot kicks. Both then fall to the outside brawling. Once they get back to the ring, Murphy dropkicks Black through the steel post and suplexes him onto the floor outside the ring. The show goes to commercial.
Back from commercial, Aleister Black delivers a Moonsault off the middle rope onto Murphy for the two-count. He lifts Murphy up with his leg for the Black Mass, but Murphy counters with a roll up and a pulling of the tights for the two-count.
Black rolls out of the ring and Murphy rebounds off the ropes for a Tope Con Hilo Suicide Dive but Black counters with a running knee for the two-count. Murphy delivers a knee strike and goes to the top rope to deliver a high aerial maneuver, but Black delivers a knee strike to Murphy off the top rope ad Murphy lands hard on the floor outside the ring.
The two superstars then glare at each other for a long time and deliver knee strikes to each other. Murphy gets the upper hand and delivers the Murphy’s Law. 1…..2… KICKOUT by Aleister Black! Murphy then attempts the Black Mass, but Black counters it into his own Black Mass! 1….2… KICKOUT by Buddy Murphy!
However, it’s just delaying the inevitable because Black delivers another Black Mass for the three-count and the victory. Black defeats Buddy Murphy for the third time. What a hat trick!
Result: Aleister Black
Grade: 3.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: These two superstars get better and better every time they battle inside the squared circle. There were a few botches here and there but the match was generally enjoyable and did not fail to impress. Hopefully, these two move onto different rivalries before this one gets old.
