Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain vs. Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Big Show [Fist Fight]
Fast paced offense starts this match as Big Show is not even allowed to enter the ring. Rollins straight out attacks him from behind. Owens delivers a Cannon Ball to AOP on the stage. Samoa Joe delivers a Running Senton to Rezar.
Buddy Murphy is still sitting on the outside. Seth Rollins asks Murphy to help him and Murphy delivers a low blow to Big Show to show that he has joined Rollins. AOP chokeslams Owens through Samoa Joe into the announce table on the stage area.
Seth Rollins attempts a Curb Stomp on Big Show, but Big Show counters and attempts a Back Slam but AOP come to save Rollins and powerbomb Big Show with a resulting curb stomp for the fist fight to end.
Result: The Monday Night Messiah and his disciples.
Grade: 4.0/5.0 Stars
Analysis: Awesome main event! Nice to see Buddy Murphy in a top rope. Tonight’s Raw was not bad at all. Despite the squash matches being mediocre, they were solid momentum boosts for the many superstars who entered the Royal Rumble. The segment between Brock Lesnar and R-Truth stole the show and the spot fest triple threat match amongst Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton as well as the technically sound match between Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy did not fail to impress. Although I jinxed a lot of events tonight, there’s one thing I did not jinx: Brock Lesnar will be on Raw next week! Eat! Sleep! Recap! Repeat!
