Andrade (c) (w/Zelina Vega) vs. Humberto Carillo [United States Championship]

For weeks, Andrade has been attempting to Hammerlock DDT every mid card superstar on the concrete pavement outside the ring. However, this superstar who got the worst of it was Humberto Carillo, who was transported to a medical facility after a United States Championship Number One Contender Gauntlet Match on the December 16 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Evidently, Andrade was frustrated with Carillo after losing to him in two separate occasions. Thanks to 50:50 booking, now is the time for Andrade to get his win back and retains his coveted United States Championship in decisive fashion.

Prediction: Andrade

Shorty G vs. Sheamus [Grudge Match]

For weeks, Sheamus has been talking about he will ravage everyone on Friday Night SmackDown who tarnished the morale of the brand. Once he stepped out of the shadows, his first target was Shorty G, whom he perceives as one of the significant reasons for SmackDown’s decline.

Although Shorty G got the upper hand over Sheamus in their backstage altercation last week on Friday Night SmackDown, the returning Sheamus should pick up the victory. After talking a big game, it would simply be embarrassing and illogical for him to lose his first match back.

At a WWE Live Event, it also seems that Sheamus has already pursued his next target: Mustafa Ali. Since Ali and Shorty G were considered to be a new breakout tag team heading into 2020, this next target is no coincidence.

Clearly, Sheamus will run through the majority of the roster until he eventually challenges for the Intercontinental Championship, which is the only championship that has eluded his career and prevented him from reaching a grand slam. Henceforth, a victory over Shorty G in this bout should come to no surprise.

Prediction: Sheamus
