Tommaso Ciampa

On the indies, in Impact Wrestling and in Lucha Underground, Killer Kross was always pushed as this unhinged, maniacal, unforgiving, ruthless beast of a man that truly lived up to the name “Killer.” Why does that sound familiar? Who else in the WWE holds many of those same characteristics?

Well, honestly, a few people in WWE ring to mind right now – laying “crazy” is a pretty common character trope in wrestling, for some reason – but the most prominent of the loopy lot is perhaps Tommaso Ciampa, who’s nickname – which he also lives up to – is The Psycho Killer.

Playing off of Killer Kross’ own unpredictable and scary demeanor, the former NXT Champion and him could have some fun cat and mouse segments the closer they get into each other’s crosshairs. Then, an actual match would make for something extremely exciting.

Honorable mention: Randy Orton – just because Orton also has a similar Psycho Killer character, though his approach to that character is a little slower paced, subtle and methodical, while Kross is a little more furious and in your face (again, like Ciampa). I think Kross and Orton could be just as interesting with that kind of simple dichotomy.
