Didn’t see this one coming, huh? Yeah, neither did we when Trish Stratus tweeted the above teaser on Feb. 26. All we know for now is that she will be making some sort of announcement on Mar. 19, which will mark the 20th anniversary of her WWE debut back in the year 2000.
The announcement likely won’t be anything big or teasing a match, since it appears Trish finally hung up her boots after her climactic battle with Charlotte Flair during last summer’s SummerSlam event, which many viewed as her one final, official retirement match.
But, with a still of the seven time champion’s Royal Rumble staredown popping up at the very end of the teaser, we feel inclined to believe that a dream match is brewing. At least, that’s what we all want to believe. But can you blame us? On paper, in any era, Sasha Banks vs. Trish Stratus looks like it would be fire.
