Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose (c) – AEW Women’s Championship

Nyla Rose is currently coming off the heels of both a title win and her first successful title defense in the last few weeks. I have a feeling her second title defense will come at Blood & Guts. Most would argue that Big Swole will be getting the challenge, but alas, she has yet to top the rankings.

Although she has been slowly built up as a top contender lately and racking up wins, she currently is not even among the top five highest ranked women in AEW this year. While they slowly build Swole in time for an encounter with The Native Beast that we all desperately want to see, Hikaru Shida is waiting in the wings in that number one spot.

As one of the first women to sign to All Elite Wrestling, Hikaru Shida has always been viewed as a future AEW Women’s Champion, but in this case, she’d have to defeat an Immovable Object in the powerhouse champ.

On paper, it is a title match that sounds like it is bound to happen, so why not book it for a PPV quality episode of AEW Dynamite this month?
