WWE WrestleMania 36: 3 Reasons Why Brock Lesnar Must Defeat Drew McIntyre
By Mark Justice
1.) Brock Lesnar Does Not Lose To One-Dimensional Superstars
A victory over Brock Lesnar is usually earned by a multi-dimensional superstar. As bold as this may sound, this is the reason Braun Strowman never defeated Brock Lesnar and this will be the exact same reason McIntyre won’t defeat Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 36.
Some naysayers can make the claim that Drew McIntyre has a babyface journey to redeem himself from his failed first round in the WWE in 2010. Considering that he went from an Intercontinental Champion to a member of 3MB, these naysayers could see his rejuvenated attitude, renewed journey from NXT to the main roster, and recent Royal Rumble victory as signs of his main event status coming to fruition.
Although he did an excellent job at flipping the switch and making his journey as inspirational as possible for the WWE fanbase, does McIntyre actually have what it takes to defeat Brock Lesnar? He does not because he is missing a dimension in his character development that should be key to helping him get an upper hand on Lesnar.
That missing dimension is grit. If McIntyre does not show enough grit in his program with Lesnar on the road to WrestleMania to make this rivalry worth the main event of WrestleMania 36, he and the WWE Universe could very well be experiencing ‘broken dreams.’
