4.) Kushida vs. Jake Atlas [NXT Cruiserweight Tournament Group A Match]

Last week on NXT, Drake Maverick defeated Tony Nese from Group A of the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament. It is very likely that the two contestants with 1-0 in Group A of the tournament will battle on this week’s NXT.

Since Kushida is the betting favorite to win Group A of this tournament, he will defeat Jake Atlas to continue his winning streak to 2-0. The biggest threat to Kushida in Group A of this tournament is ironically Drake Maverick, who is now 1-1 and has an opportunity to make a comeback as well as get his job back (if these hyped promos serve him well).

Prediction: Kushida

3.) Akira Tozawa vs. Jack Gallagher [NXT Cruiserweight Tournament Group B Match]

Last week on NXT, Isaish ‘Swerve’ Scott defeated El Hijo del Fantasma from Group B of the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament. It is very likely that the other two contestants with in Group B of the tournament will battle on this week’s NXT.

To avoid a potential three-way tie with El Hijo del Fantasma and Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, Akira Tozawa would have to lose his next match to Jack Gallagher. Besides, like Tony Nese, Tozawa already became Cruiserweight Champion and Gallagher needs the win more.

Gallagher must look ahead after his tough loss to El Hijo del Fantasma. The umbrella he wears should shelter him from the rain that shall go away once he sees all the obstacles in his way.

Prediction: Jack Gallagher
