WWE Money In The Bank 2020 will take place on May 10 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT live on the WWE Network with the kickoff show beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
The PPV will feature six superstars climbing the ‘corporate’ ladder in the WWE Headquarters to retrieve the Money in the Bank Briefcase, which contains a contract that guarantees them a future championship opportunity. The following will provide a ranking on every superstar’s chances of winning the Men’s MITB Ladder Match.
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has a championship match against Seth Rollins at WWE MITB 2020.. Evidently, any of the men who win the MITB Ladder Match could cash in on McIntyre, especially the three contestants from the red brand: Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, and AJ Styles.
Universal Champion Braun Strowman has a championship match against Bray Wyatt at WWE MITB 2020. Evidently, any of the men who win the MITB Ladder Match could cash in on Braun, especially the three contestants from the blue brand: Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, and Otis.
Per WWE’s official website, the WWE MITB 2020 Match Card is shaping up pretty nicely thus far:

As indicated above, there are six official contestants in the Men’s MITB Ladder Match: (1) Aleister Black, (2) AJ Styles, (3) Rey Mysterio, (4) Daniel Bryan, (5) King Corbin, and (6) Otis.
It is time to rank their chances of winning the MITB contract, starting with the shocker picks who quite frankly have the lowest chances of winning.
6.) Otis
Otis is one of the shocker picks to win this year’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match. He is well known as the more popular tag team parter for Heavy Machinery and the centerpiece for the love storyline involving Fire and Desire.
Now that he is one of the top rising stars in WWE at the moment, it would make sense to strike while the iron is hot and book him to win the MITB Briefcase.
However, it would be too early to push him into the main event scene and there are better options in this Ladder Match who deserve a push with the MITB Briefcase before Otis.
5.) Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio is the other shocker pick to win this year’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match. Unlike Otis, he is already a star in the WWE but the MITB contract has eluded his career. In fact, he has even been on the receiving end of a MITB cash-in, thanks to Kane in 2010.
His desire to add a MITB victory to his legendary resume should warrant him a victory at this PPV.
Before he ends his career, a MITB victory could also get him back to the main event scene where he belongs. However, as can be indicated by his long-term momentum, the underdog’s chances of winning this important and historic match remains slim.
4.) Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is one of the sleeper picks to win this year’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match. Despite reviving his American Dragon gimmick by cutting his hair and looking like his former self, he failed to win the Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt in 2019-2020.
Winning the MITB contract will allow him to redeem himself from those losses, especially since Strowman and Wyatt are involved in a Universal Champion rivalry at the moment.
However, he does not need to win a second MITB Ladder Match at the moment because winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championships with Gulak is always a future option.
It is also important to keep in mind that he might need to take some time off over the summer to cater to his wife, Brie Bella, and his newborn baby. Henceforth, it is unlikely that he will have another run with the main card championship.
3.) King Corbin
King Corbin is the dark horse of this year’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match. Like Daniel Bryan, he already won the MITB contract, but he failed his cash-in against Jinder Mahal in 2017.
Henceforth, another MITB victory would be quite redeeming for him as it could lead him to his first main card championship on the main roster as well as solidify his position in the main event scene.
As one of the few heels in this match, he also has a significant advantage in winning the MITB Ladder Match since heel superstars tend to have a high probability of winning these matches.
Corbin is set for history to repeat itself, but there’s hope that history won’t repeat itself when it comes to his cash-in (if he wins the MITB Briefcase).
2.) Aleister Black
Aleister Black is one of the betting favorites to win this year’s MITB Ladder Match. His rapid momentum on Monday Night Raw has warranted a future main card championship opportunity.
Having a superstar with multiple tattoos climb the corporate ladder is also quite satiric and could be a sign of change for how a future face of the WWE might look.
His in-ring abilities and more notably his promo about AJ Styles’ arrogance on this week’s Raw was promising and showed signs of a future world champion.
His chances of winning are very high and it should not be a surprise if he comes out with the victory this Sunday. However, there is a returning superstar who slightly has a better chance than he does.
1.) AJ Styles
After making a phenomenal return to Raw to win the gauntlet match that guaranteed him the final spot in the Men’s MITB Ladder Match, AJ Styles is now the ultimate betting favorite to win this year’s MITB Ladder Match.
Now that Styles is the new Deadman, he now has the power to dig holes and take souls, which is very possible to do in WWE’s Headquarters.
Winning the MITB contract will keep him in contention for main card championships. He should remain in the main event scene after battling The Undertaker in what was a show-stealing Boneyard Match in the main event of WrestleMania: Night 1. AJ Styles for Mr. MITB!
