AEW Dynamite Predictions: Cody Rhodes will have his revenge on Archer

Last week, Jake “The Snake” Roberts lived up to his nickname by unleashing his literal snake (among some other, um, questionable actions) against Brandi Rhodes in the middle of the ring. It all was an attempt at hashtag “mind games” for Roberts to Cody heading into the latter’s match with his client, Lance Archer, at Double or Nothing.

Where any babyface help in any form could’ve been in all of this is anyone’s guess (the excuse was that all of the locker rooms were too “spread out” across the arena to get to Brandi in time, but that’s a heck of an excuse if you ask me), but if one thing should be certain, Cody is not going to take something like this lying down. He was absent during last week’s segment, but he should be around loud and clear for tomorrow’s episode.

Especially since Lance Archer and Roberts have been announced to make an appearance during tomorrow’s episode – likely to gloat in a promo about what they did to Brandi last week – but we should expect Cody to make an appearance of his own mid-promo.

How he’ll get that promo is up in the air. Payback could range from chasing down Archer and Roberts with a steel bat (or something on brand, like a weight belt) or taking out Roberts to equalize his title match with Archer (assuming Brandi’s out of Cody’s corner to sell her attack) but however it goes down tomorrow, Cody Rhodes will have his revenge.

Also, yes, the title is a reference to Nirvana’s “Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle.”
