Sasha Banks and Dolph Ziggler vs. Drew McIntyre and Asuka

Whereas Drew McIntyre and Asuka were on the same page, Dolph Ziggler tried to act all pompous and tell Sasha Banks that he’d “take the reigns” in the main event mixed tag match. Sasha laughed him off and reminded him that he was nothing more than a loser on SmackDown on their show. Bayley put it simply: Don’t screw this up.

Bayley joined the commentary team to lend her hindsight to this main event WWE Raw match, adding the truth that she has been SmackDown’s best commentator of late.

Ziggler and McIntyre started the match, with McIntyre toying with the Show-Off. While Ziggler tried to use his amateur wrestling background, McIntyre handled him with ease with his size. Ziggler got in a Famouser, but McIntyre kicked out before the ref even hit the canvas once!

Sasha Banks tagged in to save Ziggler from McIntyre, bringing in Asuka. And Bayley appropriately chanted “Main Event!” when Sasha and Asuka had their showdown to preview the WWE Raw Women’s Title match.

Asuka and Banks were on fire, showing their technical prowess and speed before things broke down when The Empress went for an Asuka Lock.

After the break, McIntyre kept beating up on Dolph, chopping him in the corner, but Ziggler had a big counter of an Alabama Slam to stay in it. He even hit a big Satellite DDT but was unable to capitalize with a pin attempt due to the prior damage.

Ziggler tagged Banks back in, but Asuka was ready for Sasha, bringing in some heavy kicks and a hip attack in the corner.

Bayley distracted Asuka with a childish taunt to help Sasha hit some BRUTAL moves on the outside, but The Empress still kicked out. And Bayley was very pleased that her distraction, which she admitted was a “four-year-old thing” worked!

Asuka and Sasha put on some more great sequences, including Sasha’s submission hold that Asuka fought out of, leading to a huge double-down spot for Drew McIntyre’s hot tag against Dolph Ziggler.

McIntyre tried to ignore Ssaha tagging into the match, so Banks gave him the business, yelling that she doesn’t care about Drew being WWE Champion. SHE is the boss and runs the place. Asuka tried to pick up the win sneakily, but Sasha managed to kick out.

Ziggler hit McIntyre into the ringpost as that was happening, and then Sasha ended up hitting the Bank Statement after she and Asuka traded roll-ups. Asuka got the Asuka Lock, but Sasha turned it into a pin for another huge win!

Grade: B+, This was a thoroughly entertaining match, especially whenever Sasha Banks and Asuka were in it. Great finish as well, with Sasha clearly studying how other wrestlers have beaten The Empress.
