The Big Show is here
As advertised, Big Show is on WWE Raw to take care of Randy Orton, asking the “Legend Killer” to come kill him.
But instead of Orton, he got an answer from Andrade. Earlier backstage, Show irked Zelina Vega, Andrade, and Angel Garza by insulting them and interrupting them, telling them that he’d be going out there first to take care of Orton. Garza and Andrade were preparing for a match with the Viking Raiders.
Once again, Show called Vega “smurfette” (seriously, Show?), and Andrade laughed him off, joking that he can’t be a legend. Show reiterated that he’s not in the mood and then yelled for a fight.
Vega said that her stable would be doing Orton a favor by setting an example to the rest of the locker room for anyone else who attempts to disrespects Andrade and Garza. While all this was happening, Eric Bugenhagen was making fighting “faces” behind his mask at the heels. Bugenhagen is a treasure in the fans.
Just as Andrade and Garza were closing in, Ric Flair came out. He said that he has a lot of respect for Zelina, Andrade, and Angel Garza, but he was out there to address Big Show.
As Flair spoke, Show kept yelling for the bell to ring and for Orton to show up, but, of course, Flair said that Orton will come out on his time. And he gave Show a parting word of warning about Orton before telling Zelina that her stable can have fun at Show’s expense.
Just as Andrade and Garza went for the brawl, their upcoming opponents, Erik and Ivar, came out to start their own brawl, likely before the match.
Grade: B-, It was nice seeing Garza, Andrade, and Zelina get the rub from two legends (yes, Big Show is a legend!) tonight. The segment itself was pretty dry and didn’t really advance anything, but it did reiterate that Zelina’s stable is an important part of WWE Raw.
