Humberto Carrillo and Aleister Black vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy

Result: Seth Rollins gets the Stomp and the win

Rollins asked Black and Carrillo why they keep helping Mysterio. He tried to call Mysterio a coward, but Carrillo set him straight. And Black chimed in with some great words as well, adding that he will make Rollins atone for everything he’s done on WWE Raw.

Chillingly, Rollins responded, “You think you know evil? You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Rollins and Murphy moved in, the referee rang the bell, and the match began.

But maybe Rollins and Murphy shouldn’t have asked for a fight, because Aleister Black was on FIRE to start things off. He sent Rollins out of the ring with a flurry of offense and was about to move in on Murphy, but Rollins illegally involved himself while the ref was attending to a battered Murphy.

Seth tagged in and started going to work on Aleister, knocking him into the corner to deliver some more harsh blows to the former NXT Champion.

Murphy then entered the match to continue the isolation of Black from Carrillo, but Black got free with a back elbow to bring in Carrillo.

As expected, the motivated Carrillo showed his talent on Murphy, and not even a timely intervention from Rollins could save Murphy from Carrillo’s determination to avenge his hero Rey Mysterio. Though Rollins did save Murphy from a 6-1-9 before both heels got hit by a great dive to the outside from Carrillo.

Black hit Murphy with a vicious knee and Carrillo got his 6-1-9 in, but Rollins saved the matchup for Murphy. And the match was hitting furious speed thereafter. Murphy nearly got the win on Carrillo not long after, though Black saved the matchup this time.

There was a great tag team move where Murphy hoisted Carrillo up in a powerbomb position and Rollins came off the top rope with a WILD knee. But Carrillo kicked out!

In the end, Rollins won with a Stomp on Carrillo, though things continued to get ugly when Black tried to brawl to cut the celebration short. It did not end well for Black. He ended up getting dumped into the timekeeper’s area, and then Murphy and Rollins focused their attention on Carrillo, attempting to damage his eye as with Mysterio.

Carrillo fought back, but he ended up getting hit with the steel steps by Murphy anyway. A twisted Rollins picked up Rey’s mask and put it over Carrillo’s head, taunting the babyface before directing Murphy to take him to the other steps. But Carrillo fought him off just long enough so Black could save him from Mysterio’s fate. Even so, while Black was preoccupied with Murphy, Carrillo got stomped into the steps.

Grade: A, More excellent work here. This rivalry feels like a massive deal on WWE Raw, and, as Tom Phillips said, Seth Rollins is evil incarnate right now.
