Will Miro get the competition he deserves and desires in AEW?
Rusev is now a part of All Elite Wrestling, and he made his debut in AEW on this week’s episode of Dynamite. The former WWE superstar made his presence felt and went right into the crux of the conversation as he took down his previous company with his promo. The Bulgarian Brute didn’t hesitate from speaking his mind, and it was nice to see him inside the squared circle after recovering from coronavirus.
Miro is the nickname for Rusev’s real name Miroslav Barnyashev, and it was nice to see him make a switch to the up and coming company All Elite Wrestling. Miro’s entry means that there will be competition for him and a lot of superstars will get the first-hand experience of what it means to in the company of the powerhouse.
It is with this in mind that we list down three names that will be a competition for the superstar:
Darby Allin
Darby Allin doesn’t have any competition at this moment, and a match with the debuting superstar will help both individuals. It will not only keep Darby occupied but also ensure that Miro has a long feud by his side upon debut in All Elite Wrestling. A story that goes for a long time and well-executed entices the fans which the creative team at AEW can master. Miro doesn’t want his past journey to haunt him in this new venture, and a good story with a capable superstar is the only way to wipe it out.
Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega is one superstar that you can count on for his in-ring and on-mic skills. The Cleaner is one of the best superstars to grace the squared circle and has been through the world before stepping inside the ropes in All Elite Wrestling. The outcome and the aftermath of the tag-team match at All Out confirmed that Omega-Page team is over.
It does give a clear indication that the two will either feud with each other or go their separate ways. A match between the two is out of the question because the end didn’t hint at the two locking horns down the line so one can expect someone else to step into the story.
The best man for the marriage will also serve as the best man for a storyline between him and Omega. Wrestling fans have never seen the two superstars step between the ropes at the same time, and so this will be an experience that everyone will be anxiously waiting. We know that the two have the skills that can blow the roof off of the arena, and if the opportunity arises, they can put their skills to test, and deliver entertainment to perfection for everyone.
Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes is out and away from a wrestling ring because of the show in the above video, but the news shared across is that he is injured and rejuvenating. It is a way to keep the fans emotions in place and entice them for a return by The American Nightmare.
We know that Miro is in the company and he would like to take on the person that started the company that has a lot of WWE Superstars at prominent positions or with the gold. Miro is a superstar that wouldn’t back down from a fight, and one needs to look at it as an opportunity to make a mark for self.
A feud with Rhodes will help Miro become a credible and indestructible force because the company has stated that Cody is nursing an injury and if so then an attack by Miro on Rhodes at the latter’s home will spice the animosity between the two. We know that the two didn’t get an opportunity to showcase their skills under Vince & Co, but here Rhodes gets to call the shots so a story between the two will be phenomenal.
We need to see how soon will that come to fruition.
