Jeff Hardy was reportedly sent home from WWE’s live event on Saturday in Edinburg, Texas. He also missed the following event that next night in Corpus Christi.

PWInsider presented a report that Hardy was sent home from what was called a “rough night.” Shown via fan footage shows Hardy struggling during a match with Drew McIntyre and Xavier Woods versus The Bloodline. Hardy can be seen rolling out of the ring and leaving through the crowd.

Hardy has a long history of legal issues throughout his famed career. He was arrested back in 2009 for trafficking controlled prescription pills and possession. In 2019 he was arrested in South Carolina for public intoxication. That was followed by another arrest that year for driving while impaired in North Carolina. His troubles were turned into an on-air angle with Sheamus.

WWE has not released a statement about this situation, nor a timetable for Hardy’s return.

Hardy was recently moved to the SmackDown brand where many fans wanted to see him get another push into the main event. Hardy is a multiple-time champion, winning titles in Ring of Honor, TNA, MCW, and of course the WWE where he has excelled both as a tag team with Matt Hardy and a singles competitor.
