Bray Wyatt promo

WWE.com

Raw opened with The Wyatt Family already in the ring, and Bray led the crowd in a sing-along of “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands”, and the London crowd obliged, while also waving their phones in the air, creating an impressive visual. Bray told a story about a teacher who used to look down on him when he was a kid. He then said that he’s proud of where he is, and the end justifies the means. Bray announced that Luke Harper would take on John Cena later tonight, and Cena’s music hit. Harper and Erick Rowan went to the ramp, but Cena came in from behind and hit the AA on Bray, then escaped. I’ve been taken out of a lot of Bray’s promos recently, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The angle with Cena was good, as Cena looked strong here, hopefully leading to him looking weak at the end of the night.

Paul Heyman promo/Cesaro vs. Sheamus

Heyman talked about everything from the end of The Streak, to the death of the Queen of England. Heyman had to work really hard to get the crowd to boo him, which is so disappointing when he talks about the end of The Streak, which should be a thing that is universally booed.

In a non-title match, Cesaro got the win with a German suplex and a bridge pin, following a distraction from Heyman. I really enjoyed most of this match, despite the crowd doing the stupid chants for the announcers. After the match, Sheamus went to shake Cesaro’s hand, and Cesaro faked him out and left Sheamus hanging.
