With Naomi relinquishing the Smackdown Women’s Title and Alexa Bliss recapturing it on the same night, where does that leave the division for Wrestlemania?

It is extremely unfortunate that Naomi suffered an injury at Elimination Chamber and such had to relinquish the title on this week’s SmackDown. We don’t know if she will be able to make Wrestlemania at this point either, which has left creative to come up with a new plan for the SmackDown Women’s Division.

As we saw this week, Daniel Bryan made a match pitting former champions Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch against each other to crown a new champion. Alexa Bliss picked up the victory and is now a two-time champion. So where does she go from here? Most of the SmackDown Women’s roster are in heel roles, with Becky now being the only face. Nikki Bella and Maryse will be tied up in a program for Wrestlemania, so they are out.

What could they book for Alexa Bliss at Wrestlemania? Are there really any options right now with Naomi out for the time being? They do have a solid roster and there are certain things they could do, but it needs to make sense and work for that grandest stage of them all.
