WWE Fastlane 2017 Results: Bayley vs. Charlotte Highlights

Charlotte puts her undefeated streak at pay-per-view up against Bayley momentum against her at Fastlane.
Bayley just recently won the Raw Women’s Championship on Raw a few weeks ago. This has been common place on WWE especially for the Raw brand and with Charlotte involved. Charlotte doesn’t see Bayley as a legitimate threat in the Women’s Division, and heading into Fastlane, she looked to get the belt back.
The current Women’s Champion has three victories over Charlotte coming into this match and has the advantage. One caveat is that Charlotte is undefeated in championship matches at pay-per-views since her debut. This match could truly go either way.

Charlotte tries to get the psychological edge against Bayley as she has verbally over the past few weeks. Bayley tries to give Charlotte a hug early and potentially end the match. This match will turn back and forth since these two know each other well.

After the initial burst by Bayley, Charlotte gains control. Charlotte’s inverted backbreaker has the Champion disoriented. The confidence is filling as she goes into showman Flair mode.

Every ounce of offensive momentum that Bayley musters, Charlotte makes sure that it ends. Charlotte’s offense continues to get in the head of Bayley as she calls her just a fan. She still feels that Bayley is incapable of being a credible champion.

Bayley finds her second wind off of Charlotte’s mind games as she uses her Pumphandle back suplex. Nothing can save Charlotte until she rolls out of the ring.

That short time on defense gave Charlotte a chance to fight back into the match but Bayley catches her with a top rope hurricanrana. Even the huge elbow couldn’t put Charlotte away.

Charlotte’s finisher Natural Selection almost allowed Bayley to retain with a leverage pin after the near fall. As the fight goes to the outside of the ring, Sasha Banks distracts Charlotte. Bayley hits a pair of Bayley to Bellys on Charlotte.

Bayley retains the Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte.
