As I said: wrestlers only. If this list were to include authority figures, however, The McMahon Family would be at the top of the list.

No debate necessary.

Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and even Shane McMahon have managed to do what Dixie Carter couldn’t: become legitimate on-screen personas. Those televised characters just so happen to be some of the most hated in WWE history.

Whether it’s Stephanie McMahon’s time as SmackDown general manager or her role in The Authority, she garners a stronger crowd reaction than most wrestlers. With good reason, too.

Shane O’Mac is gone from WWE and spent most of his time as a face over the past 10 years, but it’s impossible to ignore his success as a heel in the past.

The king of the show is Vincent Kennedy McMahon. Vinny Mac has forced people to literally kiss his behind, “fired” popular wrestlers and participated in some of the most storied feuds and storylines of all-time.

Vince McMahon built WWE into what it is today. His on-screen presence has played a major role in that.
