The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler

Another great job by Miz. He tailored the match to Ziggler’s offense and how he could specifically counter moves in unique ways to protect his face.

This was a really crisp match at the beginning, but it got sloppy at the end as both men were out of sync on using Ziggler’s offense, but protecting Miz’ face.

Ziggler went for a superkick, but Miz protected his face, leaving him wide open for a Zig Zag.

Ziggler defeats Miz via pinfall.

3 out of 5 stars – This started out as a 4 star match, but things got really sloppy halfway through.

Triple H, Seth Rollins and Cesaro backstage

Triple H is explaining to Rollins why he shouldn’t face John Cena at SummerSlam. He said that since Rollins has the Money in the Bank briefcase, there’s no reason to put him in a title match outright.

Cesaro walked in and announced he is no longer a “Paul Heyman Guy”, and said he wants to be Triple H’s guy, and win the title for him at SummerSlam. Rollins got defensive of Cesaro trying to claim his spot, but Triple H gave Cesaro a chance to prove himself, in a match against one of The Authority’s biggest problems, Dean Ambrose. Cesaro said he’d get it done, and left.

Rollins asked what Cesaro’s deal is, and Triple H said he wasn’t sure, but they should see what he can do for them. Rollins agreed.
