WWE Raw began with Triple H airing his own little live commercial from the ring where he must have said the WWE Network was $9.99 an infinite amount of times.

He would announce the Beat the Clock challenge for later in the night to determine which of Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose will be able to choose the stipulation for their match at SummerSlam.

Stephanie McMahon would promote a contract signing between her and Brie Bella for later in the night as well.

The Game would promote the main event of SummerSlam (Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight title) as well.

Randy Orton would get on the mic to talk about his hate for Roman Reigns before the latter would enter from the crowd and yell at The Viper. HHH would set up a match between the former Shield member and Kane in a last man standing match.

3.4 out of 5 stars – It was purposely repetitive but solid overall to open the show. Nothing ground-breaking.
