WWE SummerSlam: How can WWE pull a swerve on the fans?

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev – Flag Match Stipulation

Since debuting on the main roster, Rusev has been built up to be a future monster heel for WWE. How high he gets up the card as a monster heel remains a mystery. For now though, he remains undefeated.

The Flag Match stipulation means that the contest will essentially be capture the flag. Also, a wrestler does not have to lose via pin-fall or submission. That is huge for both Swagger and Rusev.

WWE could have Swagger win so he keeps his face momentum while Rusev’s “wrestling record” remains unblemished. That could be a focal point of Lana’s promos following SummerSlam as well. Rusev could go over at Night of Champions (assuming a best 2 out of 3 for this feud would occur) and WWE’s plan for him would continue.
