Cesaro vs. Rob Van Dam to determine the #1 Contender for the United States Championship
Cesaro and RVD had a lot of back and forth in this one, but RVD eventually had control.
RVD had Cesaro down, and he went looking for the Five-Star Frog Splash, but Cesaro rolled out of the ring before RVD could attempt it.
As RVD chased after Cesaro, Cesaro caught him napping and hit a Neutralizer for the win.
Cesaro defeats Van Dam via pinfall.
3.25 out of 5 stars – The ending was poorly executed, but other than that, the match was pretty good. Cesaro and RVD are both very, very good at what they do.
After the match, Cesaro grabbed the US title from Sheamus, then threw it back at Sheamus, before backing off so Sheamus couldn’t attack him.
