Goldust and Stardust backstage

Stardust treating their title shot as if it is a “celestial event”. They say that nobody will forget the name of Gold- and Stardust.

The Usos vs. Goldust and Stardust for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Goldust and Stardust had control early. They worked on The Usos as they started to show much more dominance than they did last week.

With Stardust and Jey Uso as the legal men, and Stardust standing on the outside, Jey hit a dive onto Stardust. Starudst barely made it back in the ring to beat the referee’s 10-count, but Jey did not, as he appeared to injure his knee.

Goldust got on the mic and demanded a rematch, claiming that The Usos got counted out on purpose. When The Usos refused, citing Jey’s knee, Goldust and Stardust attacked The Usos, turned heel, and targeted Jey’s knee.

This was an awesome segment, and it will be interesting to see what this act can do as a heel act.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman pre-taped promo

Lesnar called his SummerSlam win the greatest accomplishment of his career. Lesnar said he came back to win the title, and he did it.

Lesnar and Heyman hyped the beating that Cena suffered, and said that it could’ve been worse, had Lesnar not shown uncharacteristic mercy.

Heyman said that Cena embarrassed Lesnar by using his rematch clause, and not showing more fear of Lesnar.

Lesnar talked about Cena’s “Never Give Up” attitude. He said that Cena lives off “getting back up”, but that, at Night of Champions, he won’t get up. He called NOC the last night that Cena will spend in this universe.

Lesnar was fantastic here, and he did most of the heavy lifting.
