Lana promo
Lana came out and compared American men to Russian men and Vladimir Putin, before Jack Swagger mercifully cut the promo short.
These promos are absolutely horrible, she hasn’t said anything new in months.
Rusev vs. Jack Swagger in a Submission Match
Swagger and Rusev continued to work well together and this match, as they went back-and forth.
At the end, Rusev had Swagger in The Accolade, when Bo Dallas came out and threw in the towel. The referee had no idea where the towel came from, so he picked it up and threw it out of the ring. While the referee was doing that, Swagger used his strength to get to his feet, with Rusev on his back. Swagger backed up to the ropes, but Bo took out his foot and Rusev reapplied The Accolade and made Swagger tap.
Rusev defeats Swagger via submission.
2.75 out of 5 stars – Decent match. It’s just hard to watch the same match so many times.
Bo Dallas promo
Bo told Swagger that he had to get involved in his match because he’s not Bolieving in himself. Bo then hit Swagger with a Bo-Dog.
The Miz and Kane backstage
The Miz was on the phone, talking about leaving SmackDown earlier, so he could head to “the set”.
Somebody came up behind Miz and started tapping him on the shoulder, while Miz ignored and said that he felt people were starting to respect “The Moneymaker”.
The person kept tapping Miz’s shoulder, until Miz finally got fed up and turned around, to see Kane standing there. Kane grabbed the phone and said that Miz wasn’t going anywhere, because he had a match with a man who knew a lot about doing damage to “Moneymakers”, Sheamus.
