Tyler Breeze pre-taped promo
Breeze was asked why he thinks he will win the NXT Championship at Takeover 2.
Breeze pointed out that he beat Sami Zayn at the first Takeover, and that he’s better looking than Adrian Neville and Tyson Kidd.
Breeze said he has been the best looking person in every room he’s ever walked into in his entire life, and at Takeover, he will become NXT Champion.
Sin Cara and Kalisto w/ Devin Taylor
With Sin Cara doing the talking, and Kalisto the translating, they said they were ready to take on The Vaudevillains and become the #1 Contenders.
Devin asked about the challenge of facing a team like The Ascension. They said that The Ascension will be a tough team to face, but they want to be the best tag team in NXT, and the only way to do that is to go through them.
At the end, Sin Cara thanked Devin in perfect English, leaving Kalisto looking confused as he walked off.
Tye Dillinger vs. Tyler Breeze
Dillinger looked strong in this one, getting a lot of offense. Like Charlotte did earlier on, Breeze pulled his finisher out of nowhere and got the win.
Breeze defeats Dillinger via pinfall.
3 out of 5 stars – Solid match. I’m a fan of Dillinger, but he doesn’t seem to connect with an audience enough. The fans are totally into Breeze.
