The Ascension vs. Kalisto and Sin Cara – NXT Tag Team Championship

Konnor and Viktor of The Ascension have dominated the NXT tag team division for a year now. They have held the NXT Tag Team Championship for 344 days.

Kalisto and Sin Cara recently won the #1 contender tournament for the tag team titles over The Vaudevillains. They have put on some very exciting performances and it seems like Kalisto is getting over with the crowd with each match he’s in.

The Ascension recently got their WWE main roster debut when they defeated Los Matadores on WWE Main Event this past Tuesday. They looked very solid and could be promoted sooner than later.

If the plan is to move Konnor and Viktor to the main roster, they could very well lose this match. However, with how strong they’ve been booked for the past year, WWE may not make them lose the titles. They may forfeit them down the line so they don’t pick up a loss.

Sin Cara also has been on the main roster for awhile. It would be somewhat of a surprise to see him hold gold on NXT, but it would be more for Kalisto, anyway.

This will be a very fun match that pits two different styles against each other. Fans are in for some good entertainment.

Prediction: The Ascension wins and retains the NXT Tag Team Championship.
