Fight the Establishment!

Roman Reigns has moved on from Randy Orton to his former Shield stablemate, Seth Rollins, in a feud.

The build-up for their NoC match has been far from what it was with Rollins and Dean Ambrose. There just hasn’t been any layers built onto this feud. We’ve seen some punches fly, but that’s about it. It will be interesting to see how these two mesh next Sunday.

Then there’s the story with Orton and Chris Jericho. Y2J just finished off a feud with Bray Wyatt in a steel cage match this past Monday.

During the match, Jericho would jump off the top of the cage to hit Wyatt and hurt his knee on the fall. While being checked out by doctors after the match, Orton would attack him in the trainer’s room and leave him in more pain. WWE would eventually announce a match between the two for next Sunday.

It will be the end of Jericho’s latest run with WWE, which has been less than spectacular. He’s likely going to get sent off next week with a beat down from Orton to make the latter look more intimidating for whoever he feuds with next.

First, though, WWE has to make the fans invested in this battle and they only have one week to do so. We’ll see if they can pull that off.
