John Cena and Paul Heyman promo
Cena showed up to his dressing room and dragged Heyman out. Heyman pleaded with Cena, but Cena brought him to the ring anyway.
Cena got on the mic, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is John Cena”. Cena said “the great Heyman-dini” would have to perform a magic act and make a “Beast” appear, or Cena’s fist would make Heyman’s teeth disappear.
Heyman called Cena out, and said that “Hustle, Loyalty and Respect” were a lie. Heyman said that Cena will never turn on the Cenation in order to head to the dark side, but that Heyman can be that trigger.
Heyman said that Cena would never hit him, because that would make Cena a bully. Heyman called Lesnar a bully, and said that Cena can’t be Brock Lesnar, and that’s why Cena can’t beat Brock Lesnar.
Heyman propositioned Cena, he said that if Cena hits him, he has a chance at beating Lesnar on Sunday.
Cena said that Heyman deserves his face rearranged. Heyman dared him to hit him, just once, but Cena refused.
Cena said that this whole plan was designed to produce Lesnar, but it didn’t happen. Cena started to walk away, but Heyman brought up Cena’s mother, and Cena returned with a shove that knocked Heyman out of the ring. Cue Lesnar’s music.
Lesnar came out and walked around the ring, got Heyman, and walked back towards the ramp. He continuously teased getting in the ring, but never actually did.
Lesnar had everybody convince he was headed up the ramp, but then he climbed on the apron and got in the ring. Cena was aggressive, possibly too aggressive, as he took another German suplex.
Lesnar and Heyman celebrated, when Cena climbed back in the ring and brawled with Lesnar, getting the better of him until they were separated.
This was a really good segment, and Cena looks like a legitimate threat to Lesnar. Cena won’t win on Sunday, which is why he must look stronger than ever.
