Dean Ambrose vs. Kane

It was originally announced on social media earlier this evening that it would be Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton, but plans changed.

Seeing Ambrose compete again in a match was great to see. His presence on WWE programming was so badly needed and injected some life into a string of miserable Raws. They have something special in this kid.

Ambrose’s wind-up clothesline is awesome and looked good again, even against a big man in Kane.

After Dean hit Dirty Deeds on the Director of Operations, Rollins would come in to cause a DQ and fight. Ambrose would get the best of Rollins initially, only for Kane to make the save and prevent further damage. Michael Cole made note of the Authority having to save Rollins multiple times and how they could get sick of it eventually. I wonder if this will lead to something down the line.

3.3 out of 5 stars – This was an okay match. It was more about the end result, however.

Post-Match Promo

Triple H is seen backstage with Kane and Rollins regarding what just happened. HHH starts to get into how people are getting tired of Mr. MITB’s antics, until Ambrose shows back up and attacks him again.

Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury and company would come out to break up the fight. Stephanie McMahon would order them to lock Dean into a room and keep security in front of the door.
