Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro vs. The Miz in a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Nobody really had control in this match, as the three guys involved traded moves almost the whole way.
There were innovative sequences involving all three men, and there were plenty of believable nearfalls.
In the end, Cesaro knocked Miz out, as he hit him with a European uppercut as Miz came off the top rope. Before Cesaro could make a cover, Ziggler hit him with a superkick, and made the cover on Miz to retain the title.
Ziggler defeats Miz and Cesaro via pinfall.
3.5 out of 5 stars – Just an excellent Triple Threat Match. Though I don’t want to see this title defended on Raw too much, a competitive match like this will certainly help the title’s prestige.
Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury, Adam Rose, The Exotic Express, Big E and The Great Khali backstage
Noble and Mercury were questioning people backstage, trying to find out where Dean Ambrsoe is, but they got nowhere, especially with Khali.
Luke Harper vignette
They showed a vignette that had a Bray Wyatt voice-over, and focused mostly on Harper. It seemed to be gearing towards a singles run for Harper.
The Authority, Kane, Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury, Jamie Noble, The Miz and Damien Mizdow backstage
Noble told The Authority that him and Mercury couldn’t find Ambrose. The problem was he had mustard on his face, and Stephanie called him on it. Stephanie threatened their jobs if they couldn’t find Ambrose.
Miz and Mizdow came in, and Mizdow did the talking as if he was Miz. He said that the Triple Threat Match was a joke, and he deserves better. Triple H thanked them for the laughs and put Mizdow in a match with Sheamus. Triple H then told Miz that if he barges into their office again, he will put an end to Miz’s “Straight-to-DVD career”.
