Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd for the NXT Championship

Neville and Kidd had a short back-and-forth early on, when Neville gained control. Neville had some quick strike offense, as he forced Kidd to try and regroup.

Kidd was able to take control of the match, and he used a methodical offense to wear Neville down.

After Neville started his comeback, it was all lightning fast offense, coming from both sides.

Neville hit an incredible powerbomb late in this one, but Kidd kicked out. Kidd would later lock in the Sharpshooter, but Neville got to the ropes, as these two stars provided some incredible nearfalls.

This match had an awesome final sequence. With Kidd down in the ring, Neville ended up on the outside, and was attacked by Titus O’Neil, who was sitting front row, while the referee wasn’t looking. When it looked like Titus might look to continue the attack, Sami Zayn came down and hit a Helluva Kick on Titus. Neville got back in the ring, and Kidd put him to the top rope, as he looked for a supeerplex. Neville reversed that attempt, and sent Kidd to the mat, as Neville quickly hit the Red Arrow for the win.

Neville defeats Kidd via pinfall.

3.5 out of 5 stars – Another good match from Neville and Kidd. They seem to be churning them out. I’ll be interested to see how things break down now with Titus and Zayn.

As the show was getting ready to fade out, ring announcer Jojo got on the mic and announced that Kidd was out of NXT Championship opportunities. It was a dramatic announcement, and it was very well-executed.
