Bray Wyatt is being buried. Where Is Bray Wyatt? For much of the past month, many WWE fans were wondering what was going on with Wyatt. Wyatt was rarely used on WWE programming. But, then, over the course of recent weeks, Wyatt began being featured in vignettes on Monday Night Raw. The vignettes, however, left one question. That question being when would Wyatt be returning. WWE answered that question on Sunday night.

Towards the end of what was probably the best Hell in a Cell match since WWE transitioned to the PG Era, it appeared that Dean Ambrose was going to fulfill his promise to leave Seth Rolling laying in a pool of blood.

Right before that could happen, the screen went dark.

  • No sight was to be seen but there was something that could be heard. What was heard was Bray Wyatt speaking in the same manner that he did at the end of his vignettes that have been airing during the recent editions of Monday Night Raw. Flashlights lit up the arena and Wyatt’s lantern was in the middle of the ring with smoke surfacing from it. At one point, there was a hologram within the smoke, and then, Wyatt appeared and attacked Ambrose. Wyatt’s attack on Ambrose led to Rollins getting the victory.

With the decision to have Wyatt attack Ambrose, WWE made one of it’s more brilliant decisions in recent memory. The reason why the decision was brilliant was because of how it set up the future for Wyatt, Ambrose, and Rollins–arguably WWE’s brightest young stars on the main roster.

For Wyatt, upon his return, the leader of the masses now appears to be more dangerous and creepier than ever. At the conclusion of his attack on Ambrose, Wyatt kneeled down in the middle of ring almost as if he was being controlled by a supernatural force, such as “Sister Abigal”. In addition, WWE also found a way to get Wyatt truly over as a top heel. Ambrose was extremely over with the WWE Universe. That would be why Ambrose was the perfect target for Wyatt to attack upon his return. Wyatt has now been inserted in the main-event picture in light of the World Heavyweight Championship being absent. Wyatt likely will enter a program with Ambrose that could start as early as tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw.

Rollins and Ambrose fall in a similar category as for why the finish will benefit them. Wyatt’s attack on Ambrose will allow both superstars to branch out past their program with one another. Rollins will enter a booking with Randy Orton–Orton being the one who will turn babyface–in the near future and Ambrose likely will set his sights on Wyatt.

But, was Sunday the end of the feud between Ambrose and Rollins?

No. What Sunday’s finish did was leave us with wanting more between Ambrose and Rollins. WWE left that door open on Sunday. WWE will return to the Ambrose and Rollins feud but it might not be right away.

In any event, WWE hit the restart button on Sunday and it was a decision that gave their creative team a lot of enticing options.
