Creating the All-Star Survivor Series Elimination Match

With Survivor Series less than a fortnight away, it is an exciting time in the WWE Universe, especially with the PPV being offered free of charge by the WWE Network. But, the most compelling aspect of the event is undoubtedly the main event, a traditional elimination match between Team Cena and Team Authority. At this moment in time, the 10-man match has eight participants confirmed. Team Cena has John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus and the Big Show, whilst the Authority will be represented by Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry and Rusev.

On the face of it, this looks to be shaping into one of the strongest main events in the long history of Survivor Series, especially considering the stipulation that the Authority will be displaced if they lose. As for the final two places, rumor and indications on TV suggest that Ryback will ride his wave of momentum onto Team Cena, whilst Luke Harper will return to action as part of the Authority.

With this potential in mind, it feels appropriate to recognize the importance and stature of Survivor Series’s marquee match type by constructing a match featuring its most renowned participants. These include some of the most prominent names in WWE history, who have joined teams in pursuit of victory and have gone beyond the call of duty to lead their side from the front. These are the men that secure the eliminations, battle tooth and nail for extended periods of time, and above all else survive.
