WWE NXT Review: Sami Zayn Gets Another Title Shot

Adrian Neville vs. Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship

Zayn was on fire early. He was controlling Neville, and even toying with him a bit.

Neville was able to take over with his athleticism, but he appropriately turned it down, as he played the heel role for the middle portion of the match.

Zayn started to comeback, and it turned into an exciting, fast back-and-forth between both men.

Neville went for the Red Arrow towards the end, but Zayn rolled out of the way. Zayn looked to capitalize, but Neville stayed down, holding his knee, as the referee threw up the “X” symbol. Zayn came in to check on his friend, but Neville rolled him up out of nowhere to retain.

Neville defeats Zayn via pinfall.

3.75 out of 5 stars – Surprise, surprise. Neville and Zayn put on a good match.

This was really good. It would’ve been better if Neville had gotten right up after the roll-up, because that would’ve gotten him a lot of heat. That probably would’ve made it a 4 or 4.5 star match.
