Baron Corbin vs.Elias Samson
Corbin very quickly hit End of Days.
Corbin defeats Samson via pinfall.
22 seconds. The crowd counted throughout this match and only were able to get to 22.
Bull Dempsey vs. Steve Cutler
As Corbin was heading up the ramp, Dempsey came out and might have caused a little friction with Corbin.
The crowd started off counting this one as well, but booed once they passed 22, and even chanted “Baron’s better.”
It wasn’t long after that that Dempsey hit the diving headbutt for the win.
Dempsey defeats Cutler via pinfall.
It’s the little things that make a character. Dempsey and Corbin are being booked the same way, but Corbin is over. There are plenty of reasons why, but Dempsey’s poorly chosen finisher is one of the biggest reasons, at least for me.
